($110 tuition + $71 - $291 lodging & meals package of choice)

In this class, you'll spend time discussing proper animal harvest with Farmer Andrew, and then get to put that knowledge to the test with a meat rabbit the next morning! That afternoon, learn how to use all parts of the rabbit in cooking. Processing knives will be provided as part the materials fee.  

Required Class Materials: Clothes Toed Shoes and a Water Bottle. 

When McDowell Farm School began, Andrew found himself in a group of new farmers teaching themselves how to process animals. After much independent research, they cautiously processed their first rabbits. After that, Andrew's confidence and knowledge grew and he has learned from experience the best practices for animal harvesting. With his extensive background in cooking, Andrew brings an exciting perspective to traditional rabbit preparation and cooking.
